The Mashpee Public Library Services and Staffing Study was suggested by the town administration and members of the town’s Finance Committee in 2013 as a way of measuring staffing and financial planning needs at the library going forward. The Friends of the Mashpee Public Library underwrote the cost of the study and the services of consultant Ruth E. Kowal, a former deputy director of the Boston Public Library.
