Artist of the Month

The Mashpee Public Library encourages exhibitions and displays of paintings, photographs, sculpture, and other art works for civic, cultural, educational, and recreational purposes and has provided free space on both floors of the library for this purpose.

The Library has four exhibit areas available to local artists on a monthly basis: the first floor, second floor, the Events Room, and the display case inside the Steeple Street entrance.

Artists of the Month – February 2019

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, we are excited to display “Art with a Heart” for our February Artist of the Month.  This exhibit, a collection of heart themed, mixed media pieces, is the work of local artists living with disabilities.

“Art with a Heart” was arranged by Inside Art, an Arts & Wellness Program of The Spiral Stone of Cape Cod.  Founded by local artist, life coach and Reiki practitioner Tessa D’Agostino, Inside Art has a mission of teaching individuals self-healing through the arts while integrating positive thinking, self-reflection, artistic and life skills.  More information about this organization is available at the website:

The exhibit will be on display on the Library’s second floor for the month of February.  Please stop by, take a look and support these wonderful artists.
