Did you know you have access to materials from libraries across the country via Interlibrary Loan?
If the book or journal article you need is not held in the CLAMS system, try the Commonwealth Catalog. If the item is unavailable through the Commonwealth Catalog, we may be able to locate it for you via the Massachusetts Library System’s Interlibrary Loan service or through the Boston Public Library’s document delivery system.
Through the ILL system, we are able to borrow books, articles and most media items from libraries outside of Massachusetts. Most materials no charge to you. Please note that we are not able to request reference materials, whole journal issues, or items that are still considered “new.”
For more information about ILL or document delivery, stop by the Reference Desk or call 508-539-1435 x-3003.
