Who Are The Friends?
The Friends of the Mashpee Library is a non-profit 501(c) 3 volunteer organization dedicated to the support and promotion of the Mashpee Public Library. Friends members are community members who support the mission to provide free and equal access to information, materials, and programs to all Mashpee residents.
Our members advocate for a strong library. We believe that ours is one of the best and most-used libraries on Cape Cod, and that it deserves an engaged organization that supports the community’s desire for library services.
The Friends of the Library has an active board of directors, amazing civic and corporate partners, and many dedicated members and supporters. Your support and generosity strengthens the Mashpee Public Library and ensures the continued growth of library services.

With the support of our community, the Friends have been able to add value to your library experience by enhancing our services, collections, and programs. The Friends organization promotes the Library through its participation in local events and causes such as National Night Out and Chamber of Commerce activities to increase awareness of the library and its services to the community.
