Celebrate with a book!

February is Black History Month, a time dedicated to learning about and honoring African American history and the continued struggle for equality in the United States.  This commemorative month, originally only celebrated for a week, was created by the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History in 1926.  The week become a month in 1976 and continues to remind  Americans to promote the study of Black history all year long.
