Throughout the month of March, you can participate in our March “Character” Madness! Visit the Children’s Room to view the bracket and cast your vote at the Children’s Desk. At the end of the month, we will host a craft that will be themed around the ultimate winner! Here is the schedule so you know when to come in and vote for each round. Help your favorite character make it to the final round!
ROUND 1: March 1-4 – Pete the Cat VS Elephant & Piggie (results: Elephant & Piggie won by 3 votes!)
ROUND 2: March 5-8 – Dog Man VS Big Nate (results: Dog Man won by an astounding 17 votes! The total score was 20 vs 3.)
ROUND 3: March 9-11 – Curious George VS Llama Llama (results: Curious George won by a whopping 23 votes! The total score was 32 vs 9.)
ROUND 4: March 13-15 – Fancy Nancy VS Amelia Bedelia (results: Fancy Nancy won by 1 vote! The total score was 13 vs 12.)
ROUND 5: March 16-18 – Elite 4 (Elephant & Piggie VS Dog Man – results: Elephant & Piggie won by a surprising 10 votes! The total score was 20 vs 10.)
ROUND 6: March 20-22 – Elite 4, part II (Curious George VS Fancy Nancy – results: Curious George won by a landslide! The total score was 32 vs 6.)
ROUND 7: March 23-25 – FINALE (Elephant & Piggie VS Curious George – results: Elephant & Piggie take the crown by 5 votes!)
UPDATE: Elephant & Piggie are our winners! Thank you to everyone who participated in our March Madness. Come to our winner’s celebration in the Children’s Program Room and make an Elephant and Piggie craft on 3/31, starting at 3:30 PM.
