Fiber Art Class: Fabric Stitch-Scapes – Thursday, Sept. 12, 10:30-1:00

In this textile landscape class we will learn the basics of using fabric as paint. Gauze, lace, tule, hand painted fabric and more will all be used to create a stunning mini landscape wall hanging. Warning: these are addictive to make!

The library will provide: A fun and knowledgeable teacher, sewing machines, and everything else you will need!

Of course you’re always welcome to bring your own fabric, too. For this project you will need scraps of cotton fabric in your color choices, any shells, maps, small pieces of driftwood or beads that have meaning to you.

* You must know how to use our sewing machines for this class.

Call the library at 508-539-1435 or email to register.

Fiber Arts classes are limited to Mashpee residents.
