Join us on Monday, July 15 from 4 to 5 pm to tune into a live webcast event with Dr. Carter Emmart, the Director of Astrovisualization at the American Museum of Natural History. Dr. Emmart will discuss the Apollo 11 mission. What was the exact sequence of events that transpired? Where did they land on the moon? What was needed to ensure a safe return to Earth? He will provide a guided recreation of Apollo 11’s journey to see how this mission was executed by crew members and mission control in Houston.
The webcast was organized by the American Museum of Natural History and the STAR Library Network’s NASA@ My Library program. The event is free and open to all. Refreshments will be provided.
